Edvard Grieg - Piano Concerto In A Minor, Opus 16

71 pages, Item number 1705935ED, $39.98

We are very excited to bring you one of the most enchanting and popular piano concerti ever written. For many, this is the epitome of nineteenth-century romanticism, showing the great influence of both Schumann and Liszt, as well as Grieg’s own fascination with Norwegian folk melodies. Our brand new recording features renowned European powerhouse Milena Mollova in a complete reference version, then you take center stage with the Plovdiv Symphony Orchestra under Maestro Nayden Todorov for your own brilliant performance!

About the CDs: There are two CDs included with this set. The first CD contains the work performed once with the solo part included, for reference and pre-performance. The second performance on the first CD is the work without the solo part, for your solo performance. The second CD contains the work performed once with the solo part included, for reference and pre-performace. The second performance on the second CD is the work without the solo part and slowed by approximately twenty percent. This slower version of the accompaniment will allow you to work on fingerings and technique at a slower speed.
