Drawing off of the great R&B artists of the time, as well as some who were a bit more obscure, the Beatles created a brand of rock and roll that changed the course of music. Nowhere was that sound more evident than on the Beatles's release "Live at the B.B.C." recorded in 1965. This collection showed their influences from the rock and roll of Chuck Berry to the rock-a-billy of Carl Perkins, and even a little theater music from the stage production of "The Music Man".
